We had lunch at the historic El Rancho Hotel in Gallup, New Mexico. It was once a magnet for Hollywood stars! Now they serve burgers named after movie stars. I had the W.C. Fields; a burger with green chile sauce and Kraft American cheese.
It's an interesting town with much of it looking much as it did many years ago. Next to the Amtrack station there is an old Harvey rairoad hotel. It's not open, but it still stands.
I used to live in New Orleans. Katrina effed that up, so I'm out and about, free to move around the country. I now live in Las Vegas, hey, the desert called to me!
