A Fabulous Dinner With Luca!

Last week Sunday, I went to luca's lovely North Las Vegas home for a wonderful dinner.

He gave me such a lovely meal! First, a salad and then his amazing home made four cheese raviolis with a tomato sauce and some very nice marinated olives on the side.

And then for desert, a sort of chocolate pie with a very good raspberry sauce!





I brought along two bottles of an amazing Australian wine; Molly Dooker Two Left Feet. It's a meritage, with lots of fruit and a rich port finish. It went well with the tomato sauce and then totally exploded with the desert!

It was soooo yummy! I finished the evening with a few Pilsner Urquels and we watched "Girls Will Be Girls" just because it's so funny.

Next morning, we went out for a full many pork meat breakfast at Denny's. That kind of breakfast is something that I don't do every day; it's just for special occasions, like road trips and the like. I am looking forward to many of these breakfasts when luca, pebbles and I do our October road trip north to Carson City and Reno and then back though Yosemite...

... it's going to be great!
