Cabaret
Saturday night we saw a local production of Cabaret and it was extremely good. The stage version is much darker and intense than the film version and there are some good songs that didn't make it into the movie. The cast was very good and the guy who played the M C was amazing!
This all happened in a one hundred seat theater with a $20 ticket price, but then, I've always been delighted with the theater experiences that I've had in San Antonio.

There are many, many truly talented folks in "little theater" across the nation who will never make it to the "big time" and we all benefit from their supposed failure.
