Peggy Lee passed away last night at the age of 81. I think my favorite song of hers will always be "Is That All There Is?" for which she won a Grammy. I remember thinking, the first time that I heard it, that I'd never heard another song even remotely like it. The recording shows off her interpretive skills at their highest peak taking a highly unusual song and turning it into a classic.
